What does concern me is that your sister has committed to Islam. That is a worry to me.

I feel that she is subjugating her power and identity to her beliefs. Islam is a very controlling religion where woman are not thought of very highly.

lulu, if you want to read about the Abrahamic religions, I recommend a book by D. M. Murdock, 'The Gospel According to Acharya". She is a scholar of comparative religion and mythology, specializing in the ancient astrotheological origins of popular religions and beliefs. She is also a historian and anthropologist. What you read may shock. There are many other books on the subject. copyright ybarra-cgm
