emachines et1331g-03w upgrades?
If you want to move up from your integrated 6150SE graphics, then that is no problem at all. Just about any video card nowadays will be a good upgrade.

Given the fact that this machine is practically brand new (coming with Windows 7 and all), be aware that opening the case may void the warranty. (I know, I know. It seems stupid but that is the way that many manufacturers are nowadays, especially with the lower-end machines such as Gateway's eMachines brand (and Gateway nowadays is actually a brand owned by Acer).)

Having said all that, I have found that the EVGA GeForce GTS 250 card is a good option if you want to stay with nVidia. I personally prefer ATI as I have found their drivers to be more stable and their cards more reliable but I know that there are some out there who argue with that statement, so I will offer it only as advice from a combination of professional and personal experience. copyright ybarra-cgm

The ATI card I would recommend as being similar to the GTS 250 would be the Diamond Radeon HD 5770. This actually is a bit beefier in that it has 800 streaming processors and support for DirectX 11 as well as being optimized for Windows 7.
