Then click on Computer, there you will see all your hard drives. Double click on your external hard drive. That is probably Drives. This will open up your external hard drive, there look for the program that you want to reinstall. Click on that program, it will ask you what you want to do. Either open the program and tell it to copy to C Drive or tell the external hard drive to copy to C Drive.

On some external hard drives they also have a program in all programs. To go there click on the start button again, then all programs, see if your external hard drive is listed there. It most likely has the Manufacturer's name there, click on that and you should get a menu. Have it restore what program you want to put back on C drive. I don't know what type you have so it is hard to tell you exactly. If all else fails and you can't figure out how to use it. go the the manufacturer's web site and down load the manual, that should tell you. If it hasn't been to long ago since you took it off, you can always go into the restore points on your computer, pick a date, click on it and it will bring your computer back to that date in time. Just remember anything from that date forward you will need to reinstall including you updates for the computer from Microsoft. Good Luck!
