What should be done about Jefferson and the other ones who w
Communication rule #1: Never what you say; what do others hear? Thus, even should I say, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16), folks here would look at that, note the Scripture reference, and ignore me completely. That said, I prefer to give Scripture and let them ignore God. I don't care about me.

You link to an entire article, some of which I've seen before, other parts I haven't. Your problem is your question's claim that Jefferson was a "Communist" 100 years before that idea or label existed. While Jefferson might have agreed with some tenets of Communism (even if he agreed with all of them), you can't call him a "Communist" because the thing didn't exist. You CAN call him a slaveholder, which would pretty much mean he was not a Communist. Second, Adam Weishaupt was doing what he did in Bavaria at the same time Jefferson was writing the Declaration of Independance. One's in North America; the other is in Bavaria; given known 18th century technology, we can safely say neither knew about the other.
