Does the Debt matter?

Fact is, we have 100,000,000-150,000,000 Americans working, earning money, and paying taxes on that money to the U.S. government. The U.S. government turns around and sends an increasing percentage of that tax money elsewhere to the banks and governments holding U.S. Bonds. THAT is why we're having all this economic trouble: we're shipping our wealth elsewhere.
