Hp or Dell Laptop???

I own both. They seem to be about equal in quality, durability and customer service and support.

I am a very strong proponant of the Dell Outlet Store. Great prices with the full warranty. And a refirbished machine is probably better than a new one. The refirbished machine was bought by someone new and it did not work. Dell took it back, fixed it, and tested it to a degree that new machines are not tested. Some others like unopened box are new, never used. I got a touchscreen desktop unit from Dell that was an unopened box, and it had QVC literature in it. It was probably an unsold unit from the Home Shopping Network.
