What is the cheapest prepaid service that works good?
If that is what you are asking for. I needed to find out the cheapest also a few months ago. I have been out sick now for over 6 months and can't work anymore. I could not afford the family plan that I had at the time for $59.99 a month through Verizion. I don't use a Cell phone a lot, and always had piles of minutes left over each month that went down the toilet. I started looking at different plans, for a single plan, my wife could use mine when I wasn't using it. The cheapest plans I could find out there for a single plan was $19.99 a month. I then got the great idea to look at prepaid plans that are offered. Most of those were for $19.99 for so many minutes a month.

Then I discovered T Mobil prepaid plans, they have two plans. The first one is for $19.99 same as the other plans. Then there is the plan that I took, I said I don't use a cell phone a lot so this was the perfect plan for me. ybarra-cgm.com

I have to buy minutes every three months or I will loose the minutes I now have. This is the only expense I have for the phone service. There is no monthly charge other than the minutes that you have to buy. You can buy minutes for 20 to 1000 minutes every three months depending on how much you use your phone. The cost of the minutes cost $10.00 dollars to $100.00 Dollars every three months. Keep in mind you will loose them if you don't buy more in 90 days. If you buy the $100.00 dollars worth then you 90 days is extended to one year before you need to buy more. As long as you keep buying minutes, you loose none and they are carried over with your new minutes. The cost of the phone to go with the plan runs from $29.99 to $100.00 dollars. You can buy the package at best Buy, I would assume Amazon. ybarra-cgm.com

So I now have a Cell Phone that cost me $10.00 dollars every three months, the minutes keep accumulating, but the amount I am paying keep adding up, when I hit $100.00 dollars total my minutes will then go to one year, and I won't have to even spend $10.00 every three months. This is the best kept secret out there in Cell phones. Your minutes are good for anywhere in the US. You have a great selection of phones to choose from. I choose the Motorola Razor, but the it did cost $100.00 dollars, but I am still saving a bundle. Remember I was paying $59.99 a month plus tax.
