Plasmas are much heavier on the electricity. They do have a good picture.

I have a 48inch Samsung LED TV and it is superb. I am a Sony lover but this set was much cheaper and was rated very highly. It provides HD to 1080p resolution which is great for blue ray. With HDMI you can plug the blue ray through your receiver and then to the TV and get HD quality sound. Blown away! copyright ybarra-cgm
