You need a little bit of knowledge and empathy. I'm a big man (not fat) and let me put this simply for you: big men need to eat more. Just like an 18-wheeler needs more gas to run than a vespa scooter. Until you've walked a mile in these shoes you don't need to be giving anyone advice, little stick insects like you don't need to eat as much food so don't give him a bunch of lip when he takes a greater portion of the food.
