Speed is a really fun game for those people who have a particularly competitive streak. Start out by dealing the center cards. From left to right, a pile of five, then a single card, then another single card, and then another pile of five. Then, deal the cards between the two players, with each of them ending up with 20. Each player then picks up five cards into their hand, flips over the single center cards, and proceeds to play the cards in their hand (replacing as many cards from their pile as they play from their hand) onto both center cards in sequential order, either up or down (for example, if a jack is turned up, either a queen or a ten can be played; once that card is played, another sequential card can be played, meaning if a ten was played on the jack, the next card can either be a nine or another jack). The first person to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
