Scrabble: game of luck, or skill...
It represents what we humans think life is: one appears to be given a random collection of items/people/family/resources and one is required to succeed with what one is randomly given. "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD" (Proverbs 16:33), which means it's not random, but that God determines EVERY available resource, from dice throws to Scrabble bag pulls. But the mixture is there, which is what people like. Usually, folks prefer card games because those are easier to figure out rules for; I like Scrabble exactly because it's not a simplistic card game. But the game still has its "randomness" to it that makes it more than intelligence (which is why many folks don't like chess--no randomness at all, only intelligence). ybarra-cgm.com
Percentage? Hoo boy, I'd have to say even odds because if one gets a bunch of vowels, no intelligence will help. copyright ybarra-cgm
