Would you take advice from me if I had my own advice column?
When I was in high school, I read those high priestesses of American culture, Dear Abby and Ann Landers for the humor content of folks asking them dumb questions (much like what one gets on Judge Judy). But I never took their advice because the questions were never about anything I would do. And nowadays, having seen them double-handedly promote self-esteem malarkey to this country, I can see (as an educator) how they've ruined this country by telling people to expect applause for doing nothing. Their advice was not only wrong, it was damaging. And most (not you necessarily, dear <Babalooga65>) advice columns are little different. So I take advice from God thru His word, the Bible, and also look to who actually has done it successfully.

There could be money in such things, but getting that market going would be the hard part. Those twin ladies mentioned above got started in individual newspapers and popularity developed from there. No one reads newspapers anymore and the Internet has no shortage of advice, so I can't think HOW you'd go about this. ybarra-cgm.com
