My daughter is going to school to become a Massage Therapist
unless your daughter will one day work from a place of business instead of going to client's homes. It is very isolating and one can place him/herself in a situation without realizing if the client is not what he/she seems to be. A lot of crazy people out there.

My daughter is a Counselor for adolescents and before she got her final State license she worked for a therapy group that would send the counselors to the children's homes. I recall she telling me how strange it felt being in the homes and it was difficut to get the kid's 100 % attention. Now that she has her practice, her office she feels much better.

A friend's daughter is a sweedish massage therapist and she has only women as clients and she goes to their homes. She enjoys the freedom to schedule her hours and not having to report to anyone. It took a long time for her to build up a clientelle. If I'm not mistaken she started working out of a Spa/Hairstylists/Nail salon until she realized that she could make more money on her own. The salon cut was a little too high.
