But if you listen to the President of Iraq or the Prime Minister of Afghanistan, they'll tell you that they need the U.S. military there to help them defeat the enemy exactly like the Colonists needed the French help in defeating the British. Doing the right thing isn't easy, but it's still the right thing to defend the weak and protect them from the brutal.
