Follow up on job interview? Only know the person's name
and ask the receptionist for the complete name of the person that interviewed you. Tell the person giving you the information that you want to send a follow up note.

If you do not want to do that send the note to attention of Personnel or Human Resouces and inside the note comment that your were interviewed by "name" and you apologize for not knowing his surname.
