late 80's/early 90's kids movie, monster under the bed.
I saw this movie when I was a kid, probably on Nickelodeon or something, about a kid with a guy/monster type person living under his bed. Not "Little Monsters" as I'm sure thats the first one you'll think of.

The only thing I can remember about the plot is that the guy under the bed gets out and starts causing a ruckus in the town and at the kids school.

The guy under the bed had really creepy long fingernails. I think I also remember something about he used to be a normal person but turned into a creepy monster for some reason.

I know I'm not giving much to go on here but I figured it was worth a shot. Its been bothering me for awhile now.
