The ending made the title clear: there is more than one way for a civilization to end (doesn't always involve all the others ending also), and the "unveiling" or "revealing" of new knowledge doesn't always mean your society benefits because sometimes the new knowledge is how messed up your society really is. ybarra-cgm.com
