I mean for movie reasons. I know from you answers, <D-2-da-K>, that a movie about a man who goes to hell and makes a deal and gets out of hell if he promises to fight for Satan (?!) isn't a story you'd consider an "abomination." I kinda liked the movie and found it fairly good as movies go, with the standard-issue movie storyline of introduce character, character has problem, character "solves" problem, more problems, more conflicts, character "loses," then wins. The effects were pretty good and Martin Sheen plays a good villain. Of course, I'd never seen the comics, and that might have influenced your taste in movies.
