D'Addario strings are the brightest, longest lasting strings available. Even the packaging helps reduce oxydative damage while they're unopened. The biggest probvlem with hem is using them with a Kahler type tremolo. The ball ends tend to break easily. Ernie Ball also makes a great string. They're more break resistant, though not as bright. The big plus with the Ernie Balls is theyplay more easily han other strings. Hence the name Slinky.

DO NOT use GHS Boomers. Those strings "may" last through the first time that you use them. They sound nice for about four hours, then dead as a doornail! copyright ybarra-cgm
